United Earth Foundation<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The United Earth Foundation (UEf) is being established as an independent, self-owning, non-profit Norwegian foundation. It will hold and safeguard the shared assets needed to build the United Earth proto-system: the United Earth name, intellectual property, websites, AGORA and related infrastructure, as well as development resources such as INIT and UE Medialab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Foundation develops and operates critical infrastructure, enables coordinated professional and volunteer work, administers resources and safeguards organisational continuity. It has strong custodial responsibilities during the founding phase, exercised under the United Earth Pact rather than as permanent political authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Foundation does not govern the SEC Councils.<\/strong> They are independent institutions. The Council network provides the recruitment base for the Foundation’s board, creating a connection between competence-based institutional development and stewardship of shared assets.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Foundation enforces the conditions under which affiliated units may use the United Earth name and infrastructure. Its decisions and conduct are themselves subject to the Pact, including independent review. Control over democratic functions passes progressively to the institutions elected by Earth Citizens under the published constituent rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initial establishment, funding and transfer of assets are described separately in Development<\/a>, including the United Earth Foundation funding project. The temporary United Earth association<\/a> (UEa, org. no. 832 593 702) carries out the initial campaigns and establishment work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
