Organisation
United Earth begins as a proto-organisation that mirrors the democratic system it seeks to initiate. It builds and tests institutional functions before they acquire constitutional public authority. Its constituent path is defined in HOW.
The organisation combines protected shared infrastructure, independent competence institutions, direct democratic
participation through AGORA and temporary connections to existing parliaments.
The United Earth Pact binds its participating units to defined responsibilities, the protection of the common democratic arena and the programmed succession to institutions elected by Earth Citizens.
This diagram illustrates the proto-organisational structure and its evolution toward a permanent global democratic system:
The following components make up the organisational structure:
United Earth Foundation (UEf)
The independent Norwegian foundation responsible for owning, safeguarding and developing United Earth’s shared name, intellectual property, websites, AGORA infrastructure and other critical assets. Its board is recruited from the independent SEC Council network.
United Earth Councils Association (UEc)
The independent Science, Ethics and Culture (SEC) Council network develops the knowledge and competence base for AGORA and the future democratic system, including PAI×SEC. The existing United Earth Councils Association (UEc) provides the first legal framework.
United Earth parties (UEp)
Temporary political adapters connecting AGORA’s direct voting by eligible Earth Citizens to the votes cast by elected UE representatives in existing parliaments.
United Earth Pact (UE Pact)
The binding proto-constitutional agreement defining institutional responsibilities, protection against capture, access to shared assets, enforcement, review and democratic succession.
United Earth Nodes (UEn)
The nodes network is an informal structure to build local support and connect Earth Citizens to promote the creation of the Earth Parliament.
Organisation culture
How facilitators, volunteers, specialists and employed staff work together, exercise responsibility and protect the integrity of a political community larger than their organisation.
