Articles Of Association

United Earth

Version of 2024-11-11

§ 1 The name

The name of the association is “United Earth”, hereinafter referred to as the “Association”.

§ 2 Purpose

The purpose of the Association is to initiate a political movement for us as humanity to take the next step in our political development and establish a global democratic political system, modeled after today’s democratic states with legislative, executive and judicial powers. We consider this to be necessary to enable the essential global coordination now required to avert a range of global threats to our species and the biosphere as a whole, including global warming, destruction of nature of nature, extinction of species, water and food crises, as well as a potential third world war.

Many view the creation of such a global political project as unrealistic and fear possible global tyranny. However, the risk of tyranny is present in any form of society, and it is up to the the population to be alert and politically active to avoid it. We also believe that without a global system that can actually tackle the global threats, the risk of tyranny increases, as the crises that arise can ultimately can only be handled by military power structures. Therefore, we argue that building a global democracy with effective action is our only chance to preserve the possibility of a democratic society in the future. And we need to do it now, or the chance will quickly pass us by.

Although the situation may seem dystopian, and many feel that time is running out, we believe that if we start immediately, humanity can manage to save enough for both our species and a significant part of nature can continue to develop their potential. United Earth has been initiated to help make this a reality.

The association shall work to achieve this purpose by:

  1. Declaring the global parliament to be founded during 2025.
  2.
